Once you’ve finalized a delivery, you have the option of several reporting tools to help you with delivery fulfillment. These options appear as buttons on the success screen after completing finalization or can be accessed by buttons next to each delivery on the Deliveries page.
Market Style Pickup Locations
For market style pickup locations (where products are put out in bulk and members pack their own bags), use the Market Style Pickup Report which shows a "picklist" for each location and then a mini label for each member, approximately 10 member boxes per sheet. Members can use the mini label to know what to put in their bag or they can use their mobile device because they will have a full pack list emailed to them at time of delivery finalization.

Boxed Shares
For boxed shares, use one of the following label options:
Inkjet/Laserjet compatible labels - Harvie provides labels that are designed to be printed on special label that can be printed through a regular inkjet or laserjet printer.
These labels are available through the following sources:
- U-Line - product code - S-5492 https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-5492/Laser-Labels/Uline-Laser-Labels-White-4-x-6
- Online Labels - product code - OL959 https://www.onlinelabels.com/OL959.htm (they offer a version of this label OL959AT that includes an “aggressive” adhesive that may be better for use with waxed boxes or other boxes that regular sticker sheets may not stick to

Thermal Printing labels - Harvie supports use of any thermal printing label that will print a 4 x 6 label. While we recommend the Dymo, (see below), any thermal printer large enough to print the 4"x6" labels will work.
You can purchase the Dymo 4XL printer on Amazon.com for ~$200.
The labels are available from the following sources:
- U-line - product code S-17044 https://www.uline.com/Product/Detail/S-17044/Dymo-Labelwriters-Labels/4-x-6-UPS-Uline-Labels
- Online Labels - product code RL2853 https://www.onlinelabels.com/RL2853.htm - offers a standard sticker, removable and weatherproof.
- Bay Tech Labels - product code BTL-1744907 - https://www.baytechlabel.com/store/Dymo_LW_Shipping_Label_Extra_Large_1744907_White
- Smith Corona - produce code EDT40625AP-DYMO - https://www.smithcorona.com/4-x-6-dymo-labels.html

Cost comparison of Inkjet/Laserjet vs Dymo
The labels are comparable cost of about $0.05 from onlinelabels.com. The cost savings for the Dymo printer will come with no ink costs because these printers do not use ink, it is a thermal printing system. However, the Dymo printer does have an up-front cost to buy the unit so some volume is required to make the investment worth it. Once you have the Dymo printer it can be used for other labeling tasks on the farm.
One downside of the Dymo printers is that they print only black and white, so the labels will not be color-coded by delivery location.
If it costs $0.10/page to print on your Inkjet/Laser printer, at 4 labels per page, the cost for printing is $0.025/label. So the break-even point for printing costs (assuming $200 for the Dymo printer) is 8000 labels. A 250-member farm share program delivering 25 weeks per year will use 6,250 labels in one season.
More label information
The labels are sorted by location as well as color-coded by location. Within a location the labels will be alphabetized by the member’s last name. Each label lists the member name, location name, member phone number, date of delivery and a listing of box contents and any Add-on shares.
Pick List - the pick list provides a list of each product included in that delivery’s boxes and shows the aggregate quantity of each needed to fulfill that day’s boxes. The pick list is in the same order as the member labels, so we suggest setting up your pack line according to the order of the pick list to create an efficient packing system. Here is a tutorial from a Harvie farmer on how she custom packs her shares using the labels and the picklist.
Delivery Report - This report provides a way for delivery drivers to confirm they are dropping off the right number of boxes at each pickup location. It breaks down the box count for each delivery location providing an overall total and then a total of each share size, as well as providing a tally of each Add-on share.
Notes
If a member has a double share you will see "1/2" on the label.
If a member has an arrow they have a single share with two labels (ex. if their item list exceeds 12 we will split it into two labels)
If you a member has both a double share and exceeds those 12 items, you'll see 1/2 and an arrow.
