Need some inspiration or assistance with launching your new season? Here is a step by step guide on how to get your season launched and sign ups coming in!
Note: If you haven't set up your new season yet, read about how to do that first! https://harvie.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360037927014
If you've already gotten your new season set up and you've already scheduled/ or have auto renew completed, here are some additional things you can do to get the season kicked off and orders coming in!
1. You will be ready to launch your new Harvie season once you've done the following:
- Approved your Harvie sign up page with implementation
- Updated your farm website to reflect your new season changes
- Do a website audit for your farm website by using this document
- Updated your Farm Happening in the order confirmation email
- Reviewed all Harvie member communications as a refresher
- Reviewed how the Refer a Friend program works as a refresher
2. When you are ready to launch, you can utilize the following resources to help get the word out:
Audience: Current members (from your past season)
A soft launch email is something you can send prior to doing a bigger Drip campaign. This is good to use if you've opened up sign ups around a holiday (think Christmas, New Years) and you want members only to know you've at least opened it up but aren't ready to do a big marketing push. This just acts as a gentle notification that the new season is up and you'll send out more information later.
Audience: Current + Warm Leads (past members and general interest)
This template can be built on a workflow or you can schedule it out individually. Feel free to use it as inspiration or follow it word by word. This campaign on average, has a 10% conversion rate so the closer you follow the script, the higher likelihood this will convert for you!
We recommend sending this out via the send email function schedule feature. You can schedule all emails ahead of time and your filters will apply at the time of send.
Need some inspiration and images to post on social media? We've got a sample schedule, customizable and non customizable images you can use, as well as a list of resources you can review to engage with your social media following! Note: The "Food Miles" and "# of Shares Remaining" are particularly effective on social media due to farmer surveys.
Audience: Members who have signed up for your new season
While members receive an email about this upon sign up, we recommend sending this 1-2 more times prior to the season start as a gentle reminder.
Hint: You can use the send email tool in Harvie to email those who have upcoming deliveries. Simply chose anyone with upcoming share deliveries in the specified date range of your upcoming season.
Audience: Current Members + Warm Leads (basically anyone who hasn't signed up for your new season yet!)
Some farms choose to do this email more than once leading up to the closing of their season, especially if you choose not to take rolling sign ups. As we know, most of us are last minute shoppers so it doesn't hurt to get this out to everyone who hasn't signed up prior to your season starting.
