There may be times when you will want to redeem credits on your members' accounts. For example, a member may want to purchase extras while visiting you at the farmers market, or they may request to use their credits that are nearing their expiration date to purchase an additional share. (Note: Credits can not be applied to an order. Read below on how to handle this scenario)
How to redeem credits
To redeem a credit, navigate to the members account and click on the “Credits” tab. If the member has active credits, you will see a yellow “Redeem” button on the active rows. Simply click that button and complete the form, entering the amount of credit to redeem and the reason it is being used. You may enter any amount greater than 0, up to and including the amount of that credit.

After clicking "Save Changes" the member's "Credits" tab will have one or two new rows, depending on whether the entire balance of the original credit was spent. There will be a row with the type "REDEMPTION" showing the reason you entered on the form and the deduction of the value specified. If there is a remaining balance on that credit, there will also be a new row with the type "EXTRAS" and the reason set to "Remainder:" plus the reason from the original credit.
